A Site in Need of Modernisation
Having worked with this client for many years, I originally built their website as a static HTML site based on the design and specifications of a graphic designer who developed their brand. However, over time, the site had become outdated—it lacked a CMS, wasn’t mobile-responsive, and had not been optimised for SEO, meaning they were missing out on attracting new customers through local search.

Feature Photography and User-Centric
With a fresh set of stunning food photographs by Emma Dunham, the brief was to modernise the existing brand into a fully responsive website that would better serve the business. The new site was designed to enhance local search visibility, showcase their Italian-inspired menu through high-quality imagery, and provide an improved user experience across all devices.
Social Media Strategy
Alongside the website redevelopment, I also launched a social media campaign across Instagram and Facebook to strengthen the café’s online presence and reach a wider local audience.
Balance of Aesthetics and Performance
The result is a modern, visually appealing website that drives new business while maintaining the essence of the original brand, supported by a growing and engaged social media following.
